Lab Results & COAs
Lab Results & COAs
Complete Transparency. Every Batch. Every Product.
At cbdDR, third-party laboratory testing is not a marketing checkbox. It is a non-negotiable scientific standard — applied to every product, every batch, without exception.
We publish our Certificates of Analysis openly because we believe you have the right to know exactly what is in every product you put in your body. No selective disclosure. No cherry-picked results. Full transparency.
What Is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document issued by an accredited third-party laboratory that independently verifies the contents of a cannabinoid product. A comprehensive COA confirms:
- Cannabinoid potency panel — the exact concentration of CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, THC, and other cannabinoids present in the product
- THC verification — confirming THC is below the legal threshold (or non-detectable in isolate products)
- Heavy metals screening — testing for lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, and other toxic metals
- Pesticide screening — verifying the absence of agricultural chemical residues
- Residual solvents — confirming no extraction solvents remain in the final product
- Microbial testing — screening for harmful bacteria, mold, and yeast
- Mycotoxins — testing for fungal toxins that can be present in plant-based products
A COA from a reputable, accredited laboratory is the gold standard of cannabinoid product verification. It is the only way to independently confirm that what is on the label is what is in the bottle.
Why Third-Party Testing Matters
In-house testing by a manufacturer is not independent verification — it is self-reporting. The only meaningful quality assurance in the cannabinoid industry comes from accredited third-party laboratories with no financial relationship to the brand being tested.
cbdDR uses independent, ISO-accredited laboratories to test every batch. We have no influence over their results. We publish those results regardless of what they show — because our formulation standards mean we have nothing to hide.
How to Read a cbdDR COA
When reviewing a cbdDR Certificate of Analysis, here is what to look for:
- Lab accreditation — confirm the testing laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited
- Sample ID & batch number — match this to the batch number on your product label to confirm you are viewing the correct COA
- Cannabinoid potency panel — verify the CBD (and other cannabinoid) concentrations match the product label within acceptable variance
- THC result — should read ≤0.3% (broad spectrum) or ND/non-detectable (isolate)
- Contaminant panels — all results should read "ND" (non-detectable) or "Pass"
- Test date — confirm the COA corresponds to a recent batch

Our Testing Standard
cbdDR requires the following from every batch before it is released for sale:
- ✅ Full cannabinoid potency panel confirming label accuracy
- ✅ THC at or below legal threshold (broad spectrum) or non-detectable (isolate)
- ✅ Heavy metals: all results non-detectable or below safety thresholds
- ✅ Pesticides: all results non-detectable
- ✅ Residual solvents: all results non-detectable
- ✅ Microbial: pass
- ✅ Mycotoxins: pass
A batch that does not meet every one of these standards does not reach you. This is not a policy we advertise for marketing purposes. It is a scientific standard we hold because it is the right thing to do.
Transparency Is the Standard
The cannabinoid wellness industry will only earn the trust it deserves when brands stop treating lab results as optional disclosures and start treating them as the baseline expectation they should be.
cbdDR has operated at this standard since 2014. We will continue to do so.
Scientifically Standardized. Third-Party Verified. Fully Transparent.
